Holy Mountain School Mission
We believe that children thrive in an environment which values their own uniqueness, while providing support and opportunities to grow emotionally, socially and creatively. By building on each child’s strengths, interests and curiosities, we guide each child to explore the world around them as well as develop new abilities and form close relationships.
Our Approach to Learning
OUr curriculum is aimed at makig learning meaningful and enjoyable to our students. We provide hands-on learning experiences that engage student's thinking and analytic skills.
Our Educational Philosophy
"The environment must be rich in motives which lend interest to activity and invite the child to conduct his own experiences." - Maria Montessori

Holy Mountain School is influenced by the Reggio Emilia approach to learning. We believe that children actively construct knowledge through meaningful interactions of their senses, ideas, and environment. We provide children with a safe learning environment that stimulates their curiosity and desire to learn. Our classrooms are stocked with manipulatives, or toys that work on the development of color recognition, hand-eye coordination, and motor skills.

As our newest and most popular option, our Imaginative Play tends to fill up fast - so if you’re interested, get in touch today to reserve a spot for your child. Feel free to give us a call with any questions!

The teacher's role in our classroom is to facilitate the child's learning by providing the necessary support for the student's growth. Â We employ an inquiry based style of teaching. Â Our teachers encourage students to become motivated self-directed learners. Â We reject the idea of teachers as mere providers of information. Â At Holy Mountain, teachers and students work and collaborate together in the learning process.
